Analysis review

Recently, the spot price of wood pulp has continued to rise, and the price of pulp futures has exceeded the 6,900 mark. The opening price of the sp2205 contract was 6,798 RMB/ton, and the closing price was 6,960 RMB/ton, a daily increase of 3.45%.

Internationally, the recent Russia-Ukraine negotiations have not improved, and the supply news continued to ferment, supporting high fluctuations in pulp prices. Domestically, downstream base paper companies have frequently issued price increase letters, the market is in a state of price support, and demand has improved.

Market outlook

At present, the price of pulp futures continues to hit new highs, which drives the spot price to continue to rise. It is expected that the spot price of wood pulp will still have room for rise in the short term.
