At the beginning of the month, the average price of TDI market was 19050 RMB/ton, at the end of the month, the average price of TDI was 19600 RMB/ton, an increase of 550 RMB/ton within the month, with an overall increase of 2.89%. As of March 31, the outbound price of domestic goods with tickets is around 18900-19000 RMB/ton, and that of Shanghai goods with tickets is around 19400-19500 RMB/ton.

Then, affected by public health events, the logistics and transportation were blocked, the terminal demand was weakened, the dealer's quotation was reduced, and the downstream market just needed to follow up. Under the supply and demand game, the TDI market was sorted down. In the second half of the month, the spot market was tight, and the factory's attitude of supporting the price continued. The Shanghai factory announced the increase of the guiding price, which boosted the on-site mentality, and the market quotation followed up. Then, the downstream follow-up was insufficient, and the purchase in the market was weak. In addition, due to the impact of the epidemic situation in various places, the logistics and transportation were blocked, the market trading was weak, and the domestic market maintained consolidation.
The upstream toluene market fluctuated. As of March 30, the price rose to 7690 RMB/ton, an overall increase of 3.78% over the price of 7410.20 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month. Due to geopolitical factors, crude oil showed an overall upward trend this month. Driven by the rise in cost, toluene rose broadly in the first ten days of the month. Since the middle of the year, the impact of domestic public health events has deepened, the logistics and transportation in many places have been affected, the shipment of enterprises has been blocked, the price of gasoline and diesel has decreased widely, the parking of downstream devices has been superimposed, the demand is poor, and the mentality of operators has turned empty.
According to the analysis of TDI data division of SunSirs, at present, the supply of TDI continues to be positive, but the downstream demand is difficult to promote, the impact of local prevention and control, and the follow-up of downstream demand is limited. Although the goods holders have a strong upward trend, the market performance is general. From the perspective of supply and demand, the short-term TDI market continues to be deadlocked, collated and operated, and pay specific attention to the follow-up of downstream.
