On May 10, the average domestic spot price of PVC5 type was 8,740 RMB/ton, down 0.34% from the previous trading day and down 5.51% from the same period last year.
Analysis review
On the 10th, the futures price fell, the spot market offer followed the decline, the market transaction was relatively flat, the downstream demand continued to maintain rigid demand, the wait-and-see attitude was obvious, and the focus of the PVC market shifted downward. As of the 10th, the price of raw calcium carbide was around 3,900-4,300 RMB/ton, and the price of PVC was 8,500-9100 RMB/ton.
