SunSirs: In April 2022, the coal price in Sichuan Province stopped rising and fell slightly
May 26 2022 13:41:25()

According to the important means of production monitoring system of the Ministry of Commerce, the average price of coal in Sichuan was 907 RMB/ton in April 2022, with a month on month decrease of 1.9%. Among them, the price of anthracite was 905.6 RMB/ton, down 3.4% month on month; The price of bituminous coal was 908.3 RMB/ton, down 0.3% month on month.

In the first quarter of this year, the coal market price operated strongly as a whole. Affected by many factors, the market has a short-term adjustment, but the upward trend is obvious. In the middle and late March, the market coal price entered a high oscillation adjustment stage. In April, with the temperature warming in various places, the demand of natural gas market gradually weakened, the tight supply situation in the early stage was significantly alleviated, and the price fell slightly seasonally. It is expected that in the later stage, with the convening of the 11th meeting of the central financial and Economic Commission on April 26 and the meeting of the Political Bureau on April 29, the tone of "preventing the epidemic and stabilizing the economy" has been very clear. In the future, the focus will be on supporting economic construction through investment and consumption. It is expected that the counter cyclical adjustment policy will be further strengthened, and the country may return to work and production in a large area from May to June, Drive the significant increase of industrial power consumption and the rapid increase of steel production, and after June, the residential power market will gradually enter the peak season, further driving the demand for coal.
