Analysis review

The supply side of the domestic vinyl cyanide industry was still in a loose state, and the market offer was slightly adjusted. As of May 27, the vinyl cyanide market offer in East China was between 11,200 and 12,000 RMB/ton.

Since May, the price of raw material propylene rose first and then fell, and the cost support changed from strong to weak. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of May 27, the domestic price of propylene was 8,111 RMB/ton, down 3.60% from the price of 8,414 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.

Since May, the downstream ABS industry has started construction at around 90%, the acrylic fiber industry has started around 70%, and the acrylamide industry has started at 60-70%. The demand for vinyl cyanide has a certain rigid support. Since May, the supply side of vinyl cyanide has continued to be under pressure.

Market outlook

The vinyl cyanide analyst of SunSirs believes that on the one hand, there is still pressure on the supply side and downstream demand support is stable; on the other hand, the cost has weakened slightly, and it is expected that the price of vinyl cyanide will fluctuate within a narrow range in the later period.
