On June 8, the ex-factory price of calcium carbide in the northwest region fell slightly, and the price was 4,133.33 RMB/ton, which was 66.67 RMB/ton lower than the price on June 7, a decrease of 1.59%, and a year-on-year decrease of 1.20%.

Analysis review

The price of raw material semi-coke has risen slightly recently. Shenmulan semi-coke was currently around 1,700-1,900 RMB/ton, and the cost support of calcium carbide was well. The downstream PVC market has stopped falling and has risen recently, and downstream customers have increased their enthusiasm for calcium carbide purchases.

Market outlook

It is expected that the ex-factory price of calcium carbide in the northwest region may fluctuate slightly in the future, and the average price quoted by manufacturers is around 4,200 RMB/ton.
