According to the data of SunSirs, the chloroform market in the first ten days of July fell slightly. As of July 10, the price of chloroform bulk water in Shandong was 2,887 RMB/ton, down 3.75% from the price of 3,000 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.

Analysis review

Since July, the start of domestic methane chloride plant has increased slightly compared with the previous period, and the supply is still under great pressure. However, affected by the high temperature weather, the refrigerant is just needed, which has a certain support for chloroform.

In the first half of July, the spot price of methanol fell slightly, and the cost side weakened. According to the understanding of SunSirs, as of July 10, the spot market price of methanol was 2,466 RMB/ton, down 2.12% from the price of 2,520 RMB/ton on the 1st.

The downstream refrigerant of chloroform started to operate at a low level, but it still had rigid demand support due to high temperature weather, and it also had certain support for chloroform.

Market outlook

The methane chloride data analyst of SunSirs believes that the pressure on the domestic supply side is still there; but with the arrival of high temperature weather, the demand for refrigerants is supported to a certain extent, and it is expected that chloroform will be basically stable in the later period.
