Analysis review

Recently, the quotations of enterprises in the ECH market have been different. After the early stage of downstream replenishment, the market rose again and then fell again. Recently, the raw material propylene has been consolidating and declining, the market price of glycerin has fallen, and the cost support has weakened. In addition, some units have been restarted one after another, the demand side has been flat, the downstream was not very motivated to acquire goods, and the holders of goods sold at a profit-cutting, and the focus of market discussions on ECH fell.

Upstream propylene, according to the data monitoring of SunSirs, on July 18, the reference price of propylene was 7,354.60 RMB/ton, a decrease of 4.24% compared with that on July 1 (7,680.60 RMB/ton).

Downstream epoxy resin, according to the data monitoring of SunSirs, on July 18, the reference price of epoxy resin was 18,325.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 18.37% compared with that on July 1 (22,450.00 RMB/ton).

Market outlook

The ECH analyst of SunSirs believes that the current cost support is declining, the market mentality is insufficient, and the downstream inquiry atmosphere is not good. It is expected that the ECH market may run weakly in the short term.
