On July 1, the average production price of paraformaldehyde in Shandong was 5,350 RMB/ton, and on July 26, the average price of paraformaldehyde in Shandong was 5,266 RMB/ton, down 1.56%.

Analysis review

T Linyi Shengyang Chemical has an annual output of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. On July 25, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax was 5,300 RMB/ton. The price fell by 200 RMB/ton from the beginning of the month, dragged down by methanol. Paraformaldehyde was in the traditional off-season, and the shipment was general.

Shandong Formaldehyde Industry Chemical has an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. On July 25, the price of 96 paraformaldehyde was 5,350 RMB/ton, which was 150 RMB/ton lower than that at the beginning of the month. The paraformaldehyde market was acceptable.

Zibo Qixing Chemical has an annual output of 10,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. On July 25, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax was 5,150 RMB/ton. The quotation was flat compared to the beginning of the month, the market was still available, and there were many export orders.

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average production price of domestic methanol was 2,665 RMB/ton on July 1, and the average production domestic methanol price was 2,566 RMB/ton on July 26, down 3.94%. On July 1, the average production price of formaldehyde in Shandong was 1,270 RMB/ton, and on July 26, the average production price of formaldehyde in Shandong was 1,206 RMB/ton, down 4.99%.

Market outlook
