As of July 29, the average price of refrigerant R134a was 22,500.00 RMB/ton, an increase of 5.74% compared with the price at the beginning of the month of 21,333.33 RMB/ton, and compared with the same period last year, up 8.87%.

Analysis review

In July, the fundamentals of refrigerant R22 did not fluctuate much, and the company's offer stopped falling and rebounded slightly, and the overall fluctuated slightly at a low level. The price of the raw material chloroform continued to fall within the month, the overall hydrofluoric acid was weak and stable, the cost of raw materials continued to decline, and refrigerant companies had difficulties in shipping, and the cost continued to suppress the domestic R22 price. Summer is the peak season for refrigerant demand. Under the support of demand, the overall domestic R22 price has stopped falling and stabilized.

In July, the overall price of upstream raw material hydrofluoric acid was weak and stabilized, the price of trichloroethylene rose slightly, and the cost of raw materials rose slightly. The cost of upstream raw materials for R22 has declined slightly, and the cost will suppress the market price of R22 in August. It is expected that the overall recovery of R22 price in August will be limited.
