The average price of the Shandong market at the beginning of the week was 7,150 RMB/ton, and the average price at the weekend was 7,274 RMB/ton, a weekly increase of 1.73%, and a decrease of 4.52% from the price of 30 days ago.

Analysis review

According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of this weekend, the mainstream quotation of propylene (Shandong) market was 7,200-7,300 RMB/ton. This week, both the supply and demand of the propylene market increased, and the company raised the price of propylene. However, due to the high inventory in the market before, considering the speed of delivery and the degree of downstream reception, the price was raised cautiously and struggled upward. In fact, the overall market supply and demand pressure still existed, and the price trend was still weak, maintaining a trend of big decline and small increase.

Upstream: In addition to the slight increase in liquefied gas this week, the price of raw materials fell to varying degrees, which showed that the cost support had gradually weakened and the demand support had begun to strengthen.

Downstream: More than half of downstream products began to show a rising trend, and downstream demand began to pick up, but the main downstream polypropylene market still needed to be improved.
