According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of domestic LNG on August 8 was 6,572 RMB/ ton, and the average price of domestic LNG on August 12 was 7,026 RMB/ ton. Last week, the domestic LNG price rose by 6.91%.

Analysis of influencing factors

Last week, the price of domestic LNG rose sharply, with an increase of 6.91% in the week. On Monday, the domestic LNG price began to rise. The cost support and supply tightening were favorable, and the LNG price center was upward. The price support mood was obvious. On Wednesday, due to the increase in the bidding price of raw gas, the LNG price soared again. The price of domestic gas rises, while that of imported gas rises. On Friday, the LNG price rose weakly and the market turned down. Some LNG plants were repaired and restored to production, and the supply on site was increased. As of August 12, the price of Inner Mongolia was 7,050-7,200 RMB/ ton, that of Shaanxi was 6,900-7,240 RMB/ ton, that of Shanxi was 6,900-7,300 RMB/ ton, that of Ningxia was 7,050-7,060 RMB/ ton, that of Hebei was 7,100-7,300 RMB/ ton, that of Henan was 6,900-7,300 RMB/ ton, that of Sichuan was 6,700-7,100 RMB/ ton, and that of Shandong was 7,200-7,300 RMB/ ton.

Market forecast

According to SunSirs LNG analyst, the LNG market trend was strong last week, the LNG price continued to rise, and the market fell on Friday. At present, the cost side is well supported, but the on-site supply increases, and the follow-up at the demand side is limited. It is expected that the price of LNG in China will be weak in the short term.
