SunSirs: Recently, the N-propanol Market Was Running Down (September 1-7)
September 08 2022 08:55:23SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the price monitoring data of SunSirs, as of September 7, 2022, the average reference price of domestic n-propanol was 8,233 RMB/ton. Compared with September 1 (n-propanol reference price of 8,616 RMB/ton), the price was lowered 383 RMB/ton, a decrease of 4.45%.

Analysis review

It can be seen from the data monitoring chart of SunSirs that in September, the recent (9.1-9.7), the domestic n-propanol market has shown a weak downward trend. Beginning at the beginning of the month, the n-propanol market in Shandong started a downward run. Shandong major manufacturers gradually lowered the ex-factory price of n-propanol, which drove the overall transaction focus of n-propanol to decline. The overall mentality of the industry was general, and suppliers mostly followed the footsteps of major manufacturers to adjust prices. In the Nanjing area, the n-propanol unit was running normally, and the overall n-propanol market was also running down.As of September 6, the market price of n-propanol in Shandong was around 7,800-8,000 RMB/ton, and the market price of n-propanol in Nanjing was around 9,000 RMB/ton.

Distributors in various places still had reservations about the price. The price was not easy to monitor, so the specific negotiation situation miight be different. There were also differences in each region. The actual order was mainly negotiated, and the market outlook will wait and see the price changes of raw materials and shipments.

Market outlook

At present, the downstream demand for n-propanol in China is relatively calm, and downstream users mainly purchase on-demand. As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, the downstream may usher in staged stocking. The n-propanol data engineer of SunSirs believes that in the short term, the domestic n-propanol market will mostly stabilize and consolidate, and the specific trend needs to pay more attention to the news changes on the supply and demand side.
