According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of November 10, 2022, the average ex factory price of domestic industrial dimethyl carbonate was 5,966 RMB/ton, which was 34 RMB/ton lower than that of November 4, 2022 (6,000 RMB/ton), a  drop of 0.56%.

Analysis review

It can be seen from the data monitoring chart of SunSirs that this week (11.5-11.10), the dimethyl carbonate market was adjusted by a narrow margin, the overall market was running down slightly, the inventory of some factories was controllable, and the quotation of dimethyl carbonate was stable or slightly increased by 100 RMB/ton. Some factories in Shandong failed to ship in time due to logistics and other factors in the early stage. At present, there was a certain supply pressure, and they were mainly active in giving up profits for shipment. The price of dimethyl carbonate was reduced by 200 RMB/ton within the week. The domestic dimethyl carbonate market was mainly reorganized and operated, and the downstream procurement atmosphere was cautious. As of November 10, the domestic market price of dimethyl carbonate was around 5,800-6,100 RMB/ton.

At present, the overall trading atmosphere of dimethyl carbonate in the market is general, and there is a strong wait-and-see mood in the downstream.
