According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average factory price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 was 6,233 RMB/ton on November 4 and 6,116 RMB/ton on November 10, respectively. The price of chlorinated paraffin fell 1.87% this week.

Analysis review

This week, the market price of chlorinated paraffin mainly declined. The raw material liquid chlorine market was consolidated. The raw material liquid wax continued to rise and then became stable, with certain support on the cost side. Although the cost performance was fair, the downstream demand was poor, and the market trend of chlorinated paraffin was weak. As of November 10, the ex factory quotation of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Anhui Province was about 6,600 RMB/ton, that in Northeast China was 6,000-6,200 RMB/ton, and that in Shandong Province was about 5,750 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw material liquid wax, the supply of liquid wax market was tight this week, the price continued to strengthen, and liquid wax fluctuated with the crude oil market. In terms of raw material liquid chlorine, the liquid chlorine market this week was generally smooth, with slight shocks in some areas and poor on-site shipments.

Market outlook

The chlorinated paraffin analysts of SunSirs believe that the current market of chlorinated paraffin raw materials is stable, and there is no significant change in cost. Downstream demand is weak, on-site delivery is less, and the manufacturer's shipment is not smooth. Due to the continuous downturn in the demand side, it is expected that chlorinated paraffin will continue to operate weakly and stably in the short term.
