Foreign media, December 10: Anglo American cut its copper production forecast for 2023 on Friday as ore grades at its Chilean mines continued to decline. The group also cut its production target for 2022. The London-listed miner expects to produce between 840,000 and 930,000 tonnes of copper in 2023, compared with a previous estimate of 910,000 to 1.02 million tonnes. The 2022 target is to produce 650,000 to 660,000 tonnes of copper, compared with a previous forecast of 640,000 to 680,000 tonnes.
