SunSirs BPI(Bulks Price Index) is a commodity price index created by SunSirs and a fixed base index based on December 1, 2011.
1. Formation of BPI
1) Select the most representative 100 basic raw materials in eight sectors (i.e. samples corresponding to BCI).
2) Calculate each commodity's CI and BPI daily.
2. Application of BPI
1) Reflect the daily change of manufacturing industry comparing with the base date.
2) Reflect the continuous changes of manufacturing industry in different periods.
