SunSirs: Cotton Prices may be Stable and Relatively Strong in the Short Term
May 22 2023 11:30:15     On May 22, Sunsirs lint benchmark price was 16,348.33 RMB/ton, an increase of 3.69% compared with the beginning of this month (15,766.50 RMB/ton).
Although the hype about the weather in the market has faded, the decline in cotton production in the new year and the expectation of rush harvest during the purchase season still provide support for the market. On the demand side, home textile orders are in good condition, and some large factories are more active in replenishing the inventory of cotton raw materials. It is expected that in the short to medium term, the price of cotton may be stable and relatively strong.
