In April 2023, key statistical iron and steel enterprises produced a total of 73.0996 million tons of crude steel, an increase of 0.32% year-on-year, and a daily output of 2.4367 million tons, an increase of 1.68% compared with the same caliber (one new enterprise was added to the statistical sample this month); the production of pig iron was 64.9783 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.19%, with a daily output of 2.1659 million tons, an increase of 3.66% compared with the same caliber; steel production was 72.2363 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.63%, and a daily output of 2.4079 million tons, an increase of 2.14% compared with the same caliber. From January to April, key statistical iron and steel enterprises produced a total of 280 million tons of crude steel, a cumulative increase of 5.64% year-on-year, and a cumulative daily output of crude steel of 2,329,400 tons; a cumulative production of 248 million tons of pig iron, a cumulative increase of 7.44% year-on-year, and a cumulative daily output of pig iron of 2,070,400 tons ; The cumulative production of steel products was 273 million tons, a cumulative increase of 6.3% year-on-year, and the cumulative daily output of steel products was 2.2741 million tons.
