SunSirs: Cotton Market Rose First and then Fell This Week (5.22-5.27)
May 29 2023 10:41:49     On May 27, SunSirs cotton lint benchmark price was 16,435.17 RMB/ton, an increase of 4.24% compared with the beginning of this month (15,766.50 RMB/ton).
This week, the cotton market first rose and then fell.
On the whole, the cotton rose too fast in the early stage, and there was a callback expectation. The superimposed macro pressure in the international market and the current terminal consumption in the downstream market were lower than expected.
Downstream enterprises cautiously purchased raw materials, which put the price under pressure.
