According to the Commodity Analysis System of SunSirs, the domestic hydrochloric acid market price increased by 5.41% this week, with an average market price of 97.5 RMB/ton. The weekend price had decreased by 49.5% year-on-year.
Analysis review
From the supply side perspective, the domestic hydrochloric acid market prices had remained stable this week, with manufacturers operating at an average level and low inventory. Dongming Petrochemical raised its weekend quotation by 60 RMB/ton, while Shandong Binhua maintained its previous quotation; The weekend quotation for hydrochloric acid in Wenshui, Shanxi was 100 RMB/ton, with a slight decrease in price. The manufacturer's equipment remained stable, the price of acid production remained rigid and stable, and the sales were relatively active.
From the perspective of the upstream and downstream industrial chain of hydrochloric acid, the upstream liquid chlorine market had recently stabilized at a high level, with expectations of an increase and good cost support. The downstream PAC market had recently stabilized at a high level. The price remained stable this week, with a market price of 1,818 RMB/ton. PAC manufacturers were gradually resuming production, and downstream procurement willingness was average.

In mid to late April, the market price of hydrochloric acid may fluctuate and rise mainly. The upstream liquid chlorine market was consolidating at a high level, with upward expectations and good cost support.
