In May, the overall price of PS showed a downward trend, with pure benzene showing a strong trend and styrene fluctuating and rising. However, the market was limited in terms of boost, and the market was mainly wait-and-see, with transactions still not optimistic. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market was between 9,950-11,350 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) was between 10,500-11,900 RMB/ton.

The EPS market has a lively negotiation atmosphere, with some buyers following up and the overall transaction atmosphere slightly increasing. The domestic EPS prices have been partially raised, with Jiangsu ordinary materials priced at 10,500-10,600 RMB/ton and fuel blocking priced at 10,700-10,900 RMB/ton. The EPS market is in an active negotiation atmosphere, with some buyers following suit and the overall transaction atmosphere slightly increasing.

The downstream trading atmosphere in the PS market is lukewarm, and it is expected that PS may experience a narrow range of fluctuations in the short term.
