On July 16th, the prices of rare earth elements in the dysprosium terbium series in China fell. Recently, the trading situation on the market was average, with terbium oxide prices falling by 50,000 RMB/ton to 5.3 million RMB/ton, terbium metal prices falling by 100,000 RMB/ton to 6.45 million RMB/ton, dysprosium oxide prices falling by 20,000 RMB/ton to 1.7 million RMB/ton, dysprosium metal prices falling by 30,000 RMB/ton to 2.3 million RMB/ton, and dysprosium ferroalloy prices falling by 20,000 RMB/ton to 1.68 million RMB/ton.

Analysis review

Recently, the market for new energy vehicles in the terminal market had remained stable, with normal transactions among downstream permanent magnet material manufacturers of rare earths. Downstream purchases had been mainly based on demand, with average new orders. The prices of dysprosium series and terbium series in the heavy rare earth market had declined.
