SunSirs: India's Net Sugar Production for 2024/2025 may Decrease to 30 Million Tons

The Indian Investment Information Agency has estimated India's net sugar production for the 2024/2025 fiscal year starting from October to be 30 million tons, lower than this year's 32 million tons. As of September 30, 2024, sugar inventories will reach around 9.1 million tons, far higher than the 5.6 million tons in the same period last year, equivalent to 3.8 months of consumption in India.
