SunSirs: The Total Cotton Output in 2024 is Expected to be 6.01 Million Tons

The survey results showed that as of the end of June, the weather in the main cotton-producing areas was generally conducive to the formation of cotton bolls and bolls.
It is estimated that the average cotton yield in the country in 2024 will be 147.2 kg/mu, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%.
According to the actual planting area survey results of 40.833 million mu in June by the National Cotton Market Monitoring System, the total cotton output in 2024 is expected to be 6.01 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%.
