SunSirs: Steel Prices in Inner Mongolia Slightly Decreased in August

In August, the comprehensive average prices of construction steel and ordinary sheet metal in Inner Mongolia were 3,551.81 RMB/ton and 3,842.32 RMB/ton, respectively. Compared with July (hereinafter referred to as the month on month), the prices of construction steel and ordinary sheet metal had decreased by 6.35% and 5.81% respectively; Compared with August 2023 (hereinafter referred to as year-on-year), the prices of construction steel and ordinary sheet metal decreased by 10.10% and 12.30% respectively.
Among other steel varieties, the average prices of round steel (φ 16mm, HPB235) and stainless steel plate (2.0304/2B cold-rolled) in the whole region this month were 3,709.17 RMB/ton and 16,444.17 RMB/ton, respectively; The month on month prices decreased by 5.49% and 4.71% respectively, while the year-on-year prices decreased by 9.42% and 5.13% respectively.
