SunSirs: Brazil Soybean Exports Decline to 6.11 Million Tons in September 2024
October 09 2024 11:09:26     SunSirs (Selena)Secex statistics show that Brazil's soybean exports continued to decline in September, which may indicate that after months of strong growth, Brazil's soybean export supply is starting to tighten. From September 1st to 30th, Brazil exported 6.11 million tons of soybeans, compared to 6.4 million tons exported in September last year.
The daily average soybean export volume in September was 290958 tons, a decrease of 4.5% compared to the same period last year.
The soybean export revenue in September was 2.6 billion US dollars, compared to 3.3 billion US dollars in September last year.
The average export price of soybeans in September was $425.8 per ton, a decrease of 17.5% compared to the same period last year.
As a comparison, Brazil's soybean exports in August were 8.04 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.1%.
In July, Brazil's soybean exports reached 11.25 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16%.
In June, Brazil's soybean exports were 13.95 million tons, an increase of 1.5% year-on-year.
In May, Brazil exported 13.45 million tons of soybeans, a decrease of 13.7% compared to the same period last year.
