SunSirs: Brazil's Soybean Exports Amounted to 2.93 Million Tons from October 1 to 18
October 24 2024 12:30:16     SunSirs (Selena)According to SECEX data from Brazil, Brazilian soybean exports have continued to decline since October, which may indicate that after months of strong growth, Brazilian soybean export supply is starting to tighten. From October 1st to 18th, Brazil's soybean exports were 2.93 million tons, compared to 5.6 million tons for the entire month of October last year.
The average soybean export volume from October to today is 209,324 tons, a decrease of 21.5% compared to the same period last year.
So far in October, soybean export revenue has been 1.24 billion US dollars, compared to 2.93 billion US dollars for the entire month of October last year.
Since October, the average export price of soybeans has been $424 per ton, a decrease of 19% compared to the same period last year.
As a comparison, Brazil's soybean exports in September were 6.11 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.5%.
In August, Brazil's soybean exports were 8.04 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.1%.
In July, Brazil's soybean exports reached 11.25 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16%.
In June, Brazil's soybean exports were 13.95 million tons, an increase of 1.5% year-on-year.
In May, Brazil exported 13.45 million tons of soybeans, a decrease of 13.7% compared to the same period last year.
