On December 26th, the commodity price index BPI was 885 points, up 1 point from yesterday, down 34.10% from the highest point of the cycle at 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and up 34.09% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on December 26, 2024, a total of 31 commodities showed a year-on-year increase in their prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector (9 in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (7 in total). The top 3 commodities with the highest increase were acrylic acid (1.88%), rapeseed meal (1.42%), and dichloromethane (1.31%). There were a total of 20 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (11 in total) and non-ferrous metals (2 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were n-propanol (-3.93%), liquid ammonia (-0.75%), and DOP (-0.60%).
