On February 18th, the prices of rare earth elements in the dysprosium terbium series in China fell. The recent trading situation on the exchange was average, with terbium oxide prices at 6.225 million RMB/ton, terbium metal prices at 7.65 million RMB/ton, dysprosium oxide prices at 1.72 million RMB/ton, dysprosium metal prices at 2.305 million RMB/ton, and dysprosium ferroalloy prices falling by 10,000 RMB/ton to 1.69 million RMB/ton.
Analysis review
Recently, the market for new energy vehicles in the terminal market has remained stable, with normal transactions among downstream permanent magnet material manufacturers of rare earths. Downstream purchases have been mainly based on demand, with average new orders. The price of dysprosium series in the heavy rare earth market has declined, while the price of terbium series was temporarily stable.
