SunSirs: Copper Closed Down on February 18th
February 19 2025 10:29:46     SunSirs (John)On February 18th, the price of copper futures in Shanghai fell slightly. The main contract 2503 closed at 76,850 RMB/ton, down 640 RMB/ton or 0.83%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, the March copper price in London was 9,383.50 US dollars per ton, and the ratio of Shanghai to London was 8.19, higher than the previous trading day's 8.15. The decline in Shanghai copper futures was smaller than that in the London market.
All contracts were executed by 138,661 lots, and the position decreased by 11,990 lots to 466,175 lots. The main contract sold 67,057 lots, and the position decreased by 11,307 lots to 161,151 lots.
