March 07 2025 09:29:18     SunSirs (Selena)On March 6th, the commodity price index BPI was 904 points, up 1 point from yesterday, down 32.69% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 36.97% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on March 6, 2025, there were a total of 27 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (9 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (9 in total). The top 3 commodities with the highest increase were sulfur (2.21%), copper (1.93%), and antimony (1.92%). There were a total of 55 commodities that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (22 in total) and steel (7 in total). The top three commodities with a decline were acrylonitrile (-4.21%), WTI crude oil (-2.86%), and Brent crude oil (-2.45%).
