This week, the price of bromine has been rising, with the price of bromine in Shandong region increasing. The mainstream market price was around 23,000-24,000 RMB/ton. Bromine inventory was tight, and although downstream flame retardant manufacturers had low operating rates, demand was active. Imported bromine has been delayed, and prices have risen. It is expected that prices will remain stable with some increase in the short term.

Market outlook

Bromine prices have been rising recently, while upstream sulfur prices have been weak. Bromine supply was tight, and downstream demand was good. However, the supply of imported bromine was slow. Overall, it is expected that bromine prices may continue to rise in the later period, depending on downstream market demand.
