According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of April 28th, the price of SBR in the East China market was 12,041 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.40% from 11,875 RMB/ton on the 22nd. The price of raw material butadiene has significantly increased, while the price of styrene has slightly decreased, and the cost support for SBR has strengthened. Downstream tire production slightly decreased; The production of SBR has slightly decreased, and the supply pressure has slightly decreased. The domestic SBR market is mainly wait-and-see, with flat transactions and overall market fluctuations and consolidation. As of April 28th, the mainstream market price of 1502 SBR in Fushun, Jihua, Yangzi, Qilu, Weitai, and Yibang in East China is around 11,900-12,250 RMB/ton.

Supply and demand side: Downstream tire production has slightly decreased, and there is a strong wait-and-see atmosphere in the SBR market, with flat inquiries. As of April 25th, the operating load of semi steel tires in domestic tire enterprises was around 78%; The production of all steel tires by tire companies in Shandong Province has slightly decreased to around 63% of the load.

From a fundamental perspective, analysts from SunSirs believe that the current cost support for SBR is strengthening; The production of SBR has slightly decreased; The transaction volume in the SBR market is flat. Overall, due to the impact of costs and supply and demand, it is expected that the SBR market will fluctuate and consolidate in the short term.
