SunSirs: China's Antimony Ingot Market was Stable Last Week (December 1-15)

From December 1st to December 15th, 2020, the market price of antimony ingots in East China increased slightly, at 42,500 yuan/ton at the beginning of the month, and at 42625 yuan/ton in the middle of the month, an increase of 125 yuan/ton, or 0.29%.

The antimony commodity index on December 14 was 59.34, which was the same as on December 13, a decrease of 42.01% from the cycle high of 102.32 points (2012-10-16), and an increase of 26.31 from the lowest point of 46.98 on December 24, 2015 %. (Note: Period refers to 2012-09-08 to present).

In the past half month, the market price of antimony ingots has not changed much. In the early stage, foreign imports of mines are still small, domestic raw material supplies are still tight, and the prices of mines are relatively high. The cost of antimony products is under greater pressure, and domestic manufacturers are mainly priced. At the end of November, a small batch of low-priced goods appeared in the market, but the quantity was extremely limited, and most of them were withdrawn from circulation. The impact on the overall market trend is extremely limited. At present, the supply is still tight, and the antimony ingot manufacturers are still enthusiastic about the price. The market outlook is still optimistic. As of the 15th, domestic market 2# low bismuth antimony ingot 41,750 yuan/ton, 1# antimony ingot 42,250 yuan/ton, 0# antimony ingot 43,000 yuan/ton, 2# high bismuth antimony ingot average price 40750 yuan/ton, compared with the price at the beginning of the month Temporarily stable. The market price of antimony trioxide remained stable following the trend of antimony ingots. As of the 15th, the average price of antimony trioxide was 99.5% at 38,500 yuan/ton and 99.8% at 39,500 yuan/ton, which was temporarily stable from the beginning of the month.

According to SunSirs price monitoring, in the 49th week of 2020 (12.7-12.11), there are 10 commodities in the non-ferrous sector that have risen month-on-month in the commodity price list. Among them, there are 2 kinds of commodities that have increased by more than 5%, accounting for the number of monitored commodities in this sector. The top 3 commodities with the increase were nickel (7.03%), praseodymium oxide (6.66%), and magnesium (4.49%). There were 10 products that fell from the previous month, and 2 products that fell by more than 5%, accounting for 9.1% of the monitored products in this sector; the top 3 products were neodymium praseodymium oxide (-8.59%) and neodymium praseodymium alloy (-7.24%), metal neodymium (-4.74%). The average increase and decrease this week was -0.18%. The overall decline in metal prices this week was dominated.
