On April 2nd, the commodity price index BPI was 901 points, up 2 points from yesterday, down 32.91% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 36.52% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on April 2, 2025, there were a total of 52 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (22 in total) and the steel sector (7 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were tin (3.91%), liquid ammonia (3.15%), and heavy soda ash (1.97%). There were a total of 26 products with a month on month decline, concentrated in the chemical industry (12 in total) and non-ferrous metals (4 in total). The top 3 products with a decline were ethylene oxide (-2.86%), epoxy resin (-1.95%), and adipic acid (-0.86%).
