SunSirs: On February 24th, the Domestic Silkworm Pupa Market Trend

Major domestic wholesale markets for silkworm pupae have opened normally, with a significant increase in fresh pupae sales. After last week's restocking, silkworm pupae wholesalers had sufficient inventory. The wholesale price of fresh pupae in Shandong market was generally 8,800-9,800 RMB/ton for grade A and B, and 7,200-7,800 RMB/ton for grade C silkworm pupae, a decrease of 200 RMB/ton compared to last week.

Last week, fresh cocoon and silk enterprises in Guangdong and Guangxi had normal production, while some enterprises switched to 20/22 production, resulting in a decrease in output. Last week's loading prices were around 9,500 RMB/ton for Class A, 9,000 RMB/ton for Class B, and 8,000 RMB/ton for Class C and D, which remained unchanged from last week.

Dry and wet pupae: The export acid price did not exceed 6,500 RMB/ton, the domestic sales was 5,000 RMB/ton for Class A, 4,000 RMB/ton for Class B, and 3,500 RMB/ton for Class C. The basic price of feed for dry and wet pupae was 3,000-3,500 RMB/ton. Sales have declined, with fewer buyers and larger inventory.
