All major wholesale markets for silkworm pupae in China have opened, and the supply and demand of silkworm pupae were normal. The wholesale price of fresh pupae in Shandong market was generally 9,000-10,000 RMB/ton for grade A and B, and 7,300-8,000 RMB/ton for grade C silkworm pupae, which was the same as last week.
National silk reeling enterprises have basically started production, with 23 fresh pupa production enterprises expected to start shipping this week. The supply of fresh cocoons for feed was large, and the price of fresh pupae was relatively low. Expected loading prices: around 9,500 RMB/ton for Class A, around 9,000 RMB/ton for Class B, and around 8,000 RMB/ton for Class C and D, with prices remaining unchanged from last week and showing a downward trend.
Dry and wet pupae: The export acid price shall not exceed 7,000 RMB/ton, the domestic sales shall be 5,000 RMB/ton for Class A, 4,000 RMB/ton for Class B, and 3,500 RMB/ton for Class C. The market inventory was large and the purchasing volume was low.
