As of April 3rd, the domestic quotation for sulfuric acid based rutile type titanium dioxide was mostly between 15,000-16,200 RMB/ton; the quotation for anatase titanium dioxide was around 13,200-13,400 RMB/ton; The actual transaction price was negotiable.
In terms of titanium concentrate, the price of titanium concentrate has slightly decreased this week. As of April 3rd, the downstream demand for titanium dioxide was not good, and there may be insufficient production in the downstream market. The on-site inquiries were relatively average, and we were mainly observing and waiting. As of April 3rd, small and medium-sized manufacturers have quoted prices of 2,060-2,100 RMB/ton for 46,10 titanium ore, 2,200-2,280 RMB/ton for 47,20 titanium ore, and 1,450-1,480 RMB/ton for 38 titanium ore excluding tax; It is expected that the mainstream titanium mines in the Panxi region will operate weakly and steadily in the short term.
