On October 29th, the spot market for coking coal ports by sea showed a strong trend of operation. Affected by the third round of increase in coke prices, the prices of most coal types in the production areas continue to rise, while the prices of finished products have slightly increased. However, current steel companies are still in a loss making state, and some coke steel companies may implement production reduction plans in the short term. In this context, port quotations have risen with the prices of coking coal from the production area and the market, but transactions are mainly based on high cost-effective coal types. It is expected that the coking coal market will remain stable in the later stage, and more attention still needs to be paid to the supply and demand situation and the transaction of building materials.
