According to foreign media data, the United States imported 47,900 tons of natural rubber in October 2025, a year-on-year decrease of 36.4%. From January to October 2025, a total of 696,000 tons of natural rubber were imported, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%. Among them, 575,000 tons of standard adhesive, 97,000 tons of cigarette adhesive, and 21,000 tons of natural latex were imported from January to October.

The article shows that in October 2025, the import volume of natural rubber in the United States decreased by 36.4% year-on-year, and the cumulative import volume from January to October decreased by 3.8% year-on-year, indicating that the demand side continues to be weak, which may be due to economic slowdown or an increase in substitutes leading to a decrease in consumption. This will exacerbate the pressure of oversupply in the spot market and drive the downward trend of spot prices. Based on recent futures data (such as the settlement price of 2605 contract at 16,075 RMB/ton, up and down +100 RMB/ton), although the current futures price has slightly increased, the import data has strong negative signals, reflecting insufficient fundamental support, and the futures price may face the risk of a pullback in the future. Overall assessment shows a significant negative impact on natural rubber prices, but market sentiment and inventory changes need to be monitored.
