Price trend
On April 8th, the price of soda ash in North China remained stable, with mainstream market prices for light soda ash ranging from 1,450-1,570 RMB/ton. Compared to the price on March 17th, the price was lowered by 70 RMB/ton; The mainstream market price for heavy soda ash was around 1,500-1,650 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 50 RMB/ton compared to the price on April 1st.
Analysis review
The utilization rate of production capacity on the supply side was relatively high, the market supply was sufficient, the downstream market was stable, and there was a wait-and-see attitude when entering the market. The demand for soda ash was limited, and market transactions were light.
