Price trend
According to data monitored by SunSirs, the hydrogen peroxide market has been mainly weak and declining since January. At the beginning of the month, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide was 776 RMB/ton. On January 13th, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide was 746 RMB/ton, a price decrease of 3.86%.
Negative factors dominated, leading to a weak and declining trend in the hydrogen peroxide market
After New Year's Day, the downstream paper industry experienced weak demand, and the printing industry purchased hydrogen peroxide on an as-needed basis, resulting in generally low demand. Domestic hydrogen peroxide supply was ample, and production plants operated at average capacity. Manufacturers lowered ex-factory prices by 30-50 RMB/ton, bringing the market price of hydrogen peroxide down to around 750 RMB/ton. This represented a price decrease of nearly 4%.
Market outlook
According to analysts at SunSirs, the weak demand from the downstream paper and printing industries, coupled with continued supply pressure, suggests that the hydrogen peroxide market will remain under pressure and continue its downward trend.
