According to data released by China Customs and calculations by Antaike, China imported 17,637 metric tons of tin concentrate in December 2025, equivalent to 5,191.6 metric tons of metal content. This represents a month-on-month increase of 13.3% and a year-on-year growth of 40.2%. By major importing countries: - Africa: 2,375 tons, down 11.1% - Myanmar: 993 tons, up 14.3% - Australia: 912 tons, up 91.5% - South America: 426 tons, up 118.5%

By the end of 2025, China's cumulative imports of tin concentrate reached 295,000 metric tons in physical volume, equivalent to 53,000 metric tons of metal, representing a slight year-on-year increase of 1.7%.

Regarding refined tin trade, both imports and exports grew in December. Imports reached 1,548 tons, up 29.5% month-on-month but down 48.2% year-on-year. Major import sources were Peru (678 tons), Indonesia (636 tons), and Bolivia (148 tons), collectively accounting for 94.5% of total imports. Refined tin exports reached 2,763 tons, up 43.3% month-on-month and 32.6% year-on-year, with active transshipment trade to Hong Kong during the month.

By the end of 2025, China had imported a total of 19,000 tons of refined tin, down 10.7% year-on-year; cumulative exports reached 23,000 tons, up 32.3% year-on-year; resulting in a net export of nearly 3,500 tons for the year.
